The Blue Room - Portmellon

A Fabulous comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated property. Positive: This accommodation is simply superb! The apartment is well appointed and very tastily decorated - we wanted for nothing! Kelly, the proprietor is charming, very welcoming and engaging. Young Sam who worked behind the bar and waited in the restaurant is a splendid chap. We thoroughly enjoyed the sharing menu for dinner - no spoiler, but if you order the cauliflower arancini, you will not be disappointed! We managed to catch up with the chef as we were checking out to thank him personally for such delicious and well presented fare. I highly recommend The Rising Sun and the Blue Room and it is on my list for a return visit - Thank you. Negative: I liked everything about this property!

Positive: Amazing view of the bay, big room, nice shower and decor in general. Hosts were lovely and the pub beneath is nice! Negative: It is over a pub so you can hear voices and music, but they stopped around 10pm so that was fine for us!

Positive: The view and position of the room was amazing pub was friendly and staff were lovely Negative: Just need an extension cable for ease of use for phone etc near bed . There are lamps next to bed but couldn't find a place to plug them in etc .

😁 Positive: Very comfortable and clean accommodation with fantastic sea view. Nice hot, powerful shower. Would definitely return! Negative: Only stayed one night and found no problems at all.
